Active Modality
Overview
Placing suction cups on key trigger zones to stretch underlying tissues, release fascia, and enhance blood oxygenation.
Clinical Description & Benefits
Static Cupping involves placing glass, silicone, or plastic cups on specific trigger zones and applying suction. The negative pressure pulls the skin and superficial muscle layers upward into the cup, which decompression and separation of fascial layers. This increases local blood flow, releases muscle knots, and brings fresh oxygen and nutrients to tissues to accelerate healing.
